Hana Polívková is a graduate of the Metal and Jewelery Studio, first studied at the Faculty of Design and Art of Ladislav Sutnar in Pilsen and later in Bratislava. She has been working in creating authorial and designer jewelery for several years. She is inspired mainly by nature, but she doesn’t avoid minimalism either. You can see her jewels at prestigious exhibitions such as Designblok and Design Week in Prague. You can also see her permanent collections in the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen and in the Museum of Glass and Jewelery in Jablonec nad Nisou.
Hana Polívková’s jewelery are inspired mainly by nature. Circular shapes symbolize never-ending stories that point to the eternal cycle of life. Fine stranded or crocheted threads with knots, strands of string, loops and bows symbolize the romantic sentimentality that conceals the secret of the wearer’s personal story.
